McCabe was fired from the FBI on March 16, 2018, after the Justice Department's Office of the Inspector General determined he misled investigators about the role he had in leaking information to the Wall Street Journal in October 2016 about the investigation into the Clinton Foundation. McCabe argued that his firing was an attempt to discredit the FBI and Mueller's investigation.

Impeachment takes time and the thief in chief would be out of office before it got done, Of course, the Senate would not impeach him if they walked in the oval Office and Trump had Putin's dick in his mouth. Some Dems see it as their duty to start it. It is the duty of the House to hold the President responsible for his actions. But Pelosi is practical and knows the Senate will not vote for it under any circumstances. It would be time consuming and fruitless.
Trump thinks that since Clinton's rating went up during impeachment his would too. Lots of people did not see a sexual dalliance with a consenting adult merited all the attention and trouble. Trump is a damn crook and few would wave his crime streak away.
