When 9/11 happened fear accelerated everything, and many focused on their own protections, and needs. Since I've been an adult things have slowly gotten worse. This country is embarrassing. It's a shell of itself. Kind of a sick joke in a way.

that is why they invented a NEW type of democracy mixed with a republic


new names for types of democracy had to be invented because of them


before them democracy meant everybody voted on everything.

or DIRECT DEMOCRACY

a POST OFFICE

and roads for it to operate

all without any plan to make them pay for themselves

RIGHT IN THE CONSTITUTION

the founders believed in Hybreds that made government more responsive to the people

Nonsense. One of the things they feared most was rule by mob so no way in hell were they anarcho-libertarians. If our founding fathers truly hated government why the hell would they go to the great lengths they wen to to create a new form of government?

Well, it's not as though the West's 1400-year-old enemy came out of nowhere. We reacted no worse than with Pearl Harbour, and far less so than to the first and second Red Scare.

1) Libertarians clearly don't trust the masses, being as smug as they are.
2) The founders kicked the can down the road, first creating an ineffective government.

And if the founders really believed in hybrids, why didn't they fund development of the Prius?
