Media Blackout and Censorship

I think I first saw it on the Newsweek site but saw several references to it on Facebook.

Odd, since Facebook has blocked all references to the Burisma laptop story.

So has Twitter:

Which story do you think is bigger- the mass censorship of the Biden laptop story, the msm blackout of the censorship, or the msm blackout of the laptop story?

The MSM censorship of the blackout and of the laptop story are one and the same thing. They are horribly onerous as they make the MSM into nothing more than partisan political hacks with no interest in the truth or accurate reporting of the news.

Which of the 3 stories do you think is the biggest?

First, if anybody relies on Twitter and Facebook for political news they are not going to be very informed about anything.
Irrelevant.

Second, it doesn't seem like you even checked out your claim. Go to Facebook and search for "Biden Burisma" and you will find multiple stories, photos, and memes about this topic. A few links from Facebook are listed below.
Yes, I did. I've seen numerous examples of people trying to share that story and the BS messaging that they received back from Big Tech whenever they tried to do so... Kayleigh McEnany (the WH Press Secretary for goodness sake) got locked out of her account for attempting to share the story, as did James Woods and other prominent conservatives. You never see this happen with leftist people/groups/stories/etc...

I accept your challenge to find an anti-Trump story that has been removed by a fact checker. The link is below"

Not an anti-Trump story... Try again.

No, I do not see the problem.
I can tell.

That's right, lefties have no game here other than to evade the opening post. The evasion is a picture worth a thousand words though. Go on now, post something other than a reply that demonstrates that you read and understood the opening post. Let's see your best evasion.

I literally didn't read the opening post. I'm largely indifferent to you and your posts. What were the questions? And why should I care to answer them?

That is strange since I sent several links to stories on Facebook about the issue.

A search for "Biden Burisma" shows many links including the following link to the original NY Post article with 1.9k comments:

There it is without any "blackout" or censorship.

That is strange since I sent several links to stories on Facebook about the issue.

Twitter and Facebook both took steps Wednesday to limit the spread of a New York Post story about Hunter Biden that has sparked questions about its sourcing.

Twitter took action on Wednesday by preventing users from sharing links to the story in tweets or direct messages.

Facebook also took action to limit the article’s spread but offered few details regarding those steps.

“While I will intentionally not link to the New York Post, I want be clear that this story is eligible to be fact checked by Facebook’s third-party fact checking partners. In the meantime, we are reducing its distribution on our platform,” policy communications manager Andy Stone tweeted.

Facebook recently announced a policy on viral misinformation which says that "in many countries, including in the U.S., if we have signals that a piece of content is false, we temporarily reduce its distribution pending review by a third-party fact-checker."

It is unclear what “signals” triggered the limit on the Post article.

According to data from Crowdtangle, which is owned by Facebook, the link to the Post story has received more than 245,000 interactions on the platform despite Facebook's intervention.

It is unclear if Facebook will restrict the reach of articles that aggregate the Post story.

What Facebook and Twitter choose to do does not impost any blackout on the news itself. It is still available on many other sites including Facebook. I'm not on Twitter so I can't speak for it but I know it is on Facebook including the link to the original story.

Twitter and Facebook do not constitute "the media." Those are gossip sites.

Funny, I found all those links I sent you and those were just a few. As I said, there is still a link to the original Post story including 1.9k comments.

Not an anti-Trump story... Try again.

It was an anti-Trump meme.

To all who have over the years accused me of exaggerating how much trouble America is in, about how corrupt America is, about how much our elites suck....ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION NOW?
