Meet Flippi, you new burger flipper and response to high min wage

My argument is that companies will always choose automation because it's cheaper.

Again; only when the cost of human labor is more expensive. How many times do you have to be told for that FACT to sink in?

I compared it to sweatshops in that companies also often use sweatshops because they're cheaper than paying Americans.

No; you compared sweatshops to automation because you don't know what you are bloviating about. ;)

They don't get economics. None of them would know what it is like to run a business. ;)

In a test kitchen in a corner building in downtown Pasadena, Flippy the robot grabbed a fryer basket full of chicken fingers, plunged it into hot oil — its sensors told it exactly how hot — then lifted, drained and dumped maximally tender tenders into a waiting hopper.

And didnt eat any, drop them on the floor or worse...

Robots break down and need maintenance. Power goes down, so do they. They count on repeatability. That means they must be extremely securely attached. Robots are often placed on granite slabs and are deeply screwed and dowelled down. You tear down the line to install them and they need updates. Installation is expensive.
They always look like a better idea than they are.

You don't care if they have coronavirus as you stick your tongue deep in their anuses.

There's still hope that your entire family will get it. Walt predicts that it will be a pandemic but I'm sure you already knew he would before he posted it.

People get sick; take vacations, don't show up on time and can't work when there is a power outage. Were you born a moron?
