"Somebody" put the flag right on the homeowner's front porch in clear view of people entering and exiting the house, and the homeowner never noticed it until the pic took off on social media, according to your link.

If I flew a flag that depicted murdering your family and setting your house on fire while I danced around holding a gas can, and then got everyone in the neighborhood to fly that same flag, and then made it possible for that flag to fly in every public space you occupy, you would cry and whine and bitch and moan and moo and oink and squeal that you were being harassed and intimidated.

A Nazi flag is a declaration that you intend to commit genocide whenever it is convenient, so yes, burning down that house would be justifiable, preemptive self defense.

The flag in question is a military flag . The political Nazi flag bears no Iron Cross.

It was an official flag of Nazi Germany. Anyone flying it in a respectful manner does so in support of Nazi Germany

All Germans were not Nazis. Certainly, all of the German military were not Nazis. The Iron Cross is a respected award for extreme valor.
