Migrant charged with DWI killing of 5 in Texas crash. Usual media blackout since non-white is suspect

Illegal Aliens can't get a license in Texas this guy should be in his home country and not drunk behind the wheel of a 80,000 lb vehicle.
Yet again, if he did not have a CDL, he would have been arrested for that. It is an easy arrest. Clearly he had a CDL.

But, you are correct, he could not have gotten a CDL had he not been working here completely legally. Given that he appears to have been born here, he was driving in his "home country", the USA.

And he still registered a 0.0 on the breathalyzer, so almost certainly not drunk.

So we have a Christian, American, who was not drunk, driving big rig with a valid CDL... And he failed his sobriety tests... I am thinking drugs, but that is just a guess. They should take blood, and see if they can find a positive test for drugs, and also give him a full medical exam to see if he has some other medical problem. There are plenty of people who have real medical problems that are not illegal.

He was arrested for intoxication manslaughter 5 counts and 2 counts of intoxication assault. Their were 12 people taken to the hospital so clearly we have no seen everything that he will eventually be charged with. So if he has no CDL or a fraudulent CDL he will likely get charged for than . He was intoxicated on depressants.

He blew a 0.0 on the breathalyzer, so he was not drunk. He failed the sobriety test, so he may have been high on drugs, which is why he was arrested.

When a big rig driver kills a bunch of people, they check the CDL. And I mean really check it. It is not fraudulent.

He was intoxicated on depressants.
That is an odd statement to throw in. Did you read that in one of the articles?

Usually truck drivers are high on stimulants, because they want to drive more time, and make more money. Again, I have no specific information that Araya is high on anything.

"According to police, Araya showed signs of intoxication following the crash. The affidavit states Araya had bloodshot and watery eyes, mumbled speech and swayed while walking and turning, consistent with signs of central nervous system depressants."

“5 patients (3 adults, 1 child, 1 infant) have been pronounced deceased on scene,” Austin-Travis County EMS wrote on X.

Of the 12 people who were injured, three of them were children, officials said.

Yet Rarely Right Walter defends him.

Interesting selfie, Ms. Moon. Where's your hijab?

Diesel is a brand of overpriced clothing, sweetcheecks. Maybe if you stopped sucking the cocks of terrorists and left your hut for a while, you'd learn more about the world.

"Expensive" is more accurate than "overpriced". It's not often that I can tailor a pair of jeans and wear them indefinitely. I would much rather wear sexy, fitted pants for $400 for 20 years than wear lazy, rack jeans for $30 for 2 or 3 years. Diesel accessories are also impressive.

@TOP. Toxic, look! Someone for you to hate on and use for political purposes again!

Too bad your #FatassFelon didn't get around to deporting the accused, isn't it? lol

Clearly a different mindset. I look at material objects, and life itself, as being impermanent. Brush up against a freshly painted white wall with those $400 jeans and that's worth crying over. Do it with a pair of $30 jeans and the response is "Fuck!" then make them work jeans and buy another pair for dating/partying.

Also, just checking your math; 20/2 = 10 years. 10 x $30 = $300. $100 cheaper than the overpriced ones. :)

There's also the aspect of having 10 different types of $30 jeans; bell bottoms, boot cut, decorated, faded, etc. rather than just one pair of $400 jeans.

You've seen my posts in the Owl thread, so you know that you're just repeating a sentiment I have already expressed.

I wouldn't cry over $400 or $30 jeans, but I also don't brush against wet paint. Call me cautious, mindful, and aware, I suppose. Try it sometime.

I know math. Rack jeans will cost me about $15 per year. Designer jeans will cost me about $20 per year. I won't even begin to explain to you why the solution to that word problem is obvious to me and repels others, like you.

I don't own "just one" pair of jeans nor "just one" style. I appreciate your predictable contrariness, but I'm just not going to set aside time today for your arguments for the sake or argument.

Wet paint is just one example. One of my points is a general philosophy of not putting all of my eggs in one basket. I also put function over form. Part of this is training, but mostly due to experience of losing possessions for one reason or another. This includes a couple instances of losing almost everything.

As Americans, we are inundated from childhood to be good consumers. We're taught that material possessions bring both happiness and prove our value as human beings. Toy commercials in children's shows is one example. Another example are the Jared Jewelry commercials at Christmas and Valentines Day pushing the idea that "if you love someone, you'll buy them a $5000 trinket".

Consumerism is the opposite of the Buddhist philosophy of non-attachment to material things such as possessions. Trump, et al, is an example of people who believe they are better people than others because they have the most valuable possessions.

My wife taught me to "collect memories, not things". She, too, has experienced the loss of most of her possessions. Some irreplaceable. We've both learned that there are more important things in life than possessions.

It is important to note, though, that the Buddhist advice is not to detach from the people in your life or from your experiences, but rather to simply recognize the non-attachment that is inherent to begin with. This is a rather key difference between Buddhist and other religious philosophies. While other religions seek to achieve some state of grace through hard work and active repudiation, Buddhism teaches that we are inherently joyful and that it is simply a matter of surrendering and relinquishing our misguided habits and preconceptions so that we can experience the essential Buddahood that is within us all.

Too bad about your marbles, pimp- and the other half of your wit.

Muslims should not be allowed in america since they are fatalists and do not believe in safe driving or any sort of responsible behavior. They believe if they kill someone, it was destined to happen and nothing they could have done would have prevented it. Asians are also fatalists.

Why did The Felon allow him to stay?
