I said it never happened to me. And I said that we were under orders that while in uniform we were to be apolitical. Never once was I told who to vote for. And if we were part of a protest we could lose our clearance regardless of what it was about.

Now, we could be politically active, just not while in uniform and not in a way that may be used against us to extort information.

He's already stated he'd abandon Iraq to either Al Qeada, or Iran whoever takes over first, and also said he'll bomb Pakistan with or without their approval? This kind of crap is what we did in the 90's, bomb and run, and it's what grew this radical hate against us, and made us look so weak to Bin Laden. This is the kind of behavior Bin Laden uses against us, weak half measures like when Clinton bombed a malaria vaccination plant trying to randomly bomb terrorists.

Please in a rational manner explain how this will moderate radical Islam at all?

Newsflash: Obama restated our current policy. A policy that has been executed in Pakistan as recently as January. It's got nothing to do with starting another war. At all.

And please explain how it makes sense to give up on one war that is halfway finished to get bogged down in another war with a country that poses no threat to the United States? That's what Bush did and you cheered him. Your pal McCain was right out front along with him.
