I guest the Bush administration should have given tax breaks to businesses that kept jobs in this country, rather than outsourcing them?! Also, NAFTA did not create any jobs here either, but cost the lost of many US jobs! The standard of living, for most in this country has gone down over the past decade and more than likely will continue for the foreseeable future too! One thing to remember, tax cuts for the rich and large corporations, don't stickle down to you or create jobs for you either!

The point is that it was, from an American perspective, until other countries notably China started paying the same game.

Yes. That is the point. The whole scheme of it in the first place is an illuminati plot to destroy america. That's why they lied and said it would always be this rising tide raising all ships. that was a lie, and our leadership knew it all along but did it anyway under order from their jewish banker controllers.

Globalization raises the standard of living!*

* standard of living may only raise for a minority of global fascist elites.

We are being burned and we're fucking on here on a messageboard debating whether it's even real. You people are pathetic. Totally lost. OR just sold out.

**Side Effects include, urges to tell people all about it on message boards on the interwebs, a real "tired" feeling, some nose goblins and a latent urge to actually do something.

Educating the nitwits is what I do. Somebody has to.

Why even try. I gave up yrs ago. they are too brainwashed. I have nothing but contempt for them and what their conservative ideology has done to this country.

I can't understand why a person in the middle class would back the same people who would steal from them and drag down their standard of living. But propaganda is a strong force and has them by the nuts because they don't have any brains.

how can globalization be good for the country at the top? its bound to take us down and poor countries up. However that being said if we didn't go with the world with globalization happening all around us would go down ever faster? Think of countries that have embargos or are isolationists. Cuba is stuck in the 60's. Only thing we can realistically do to stay on top is use military might to stay there.

Idiots like asshat are just trying to pull an us vs. them scam. Free trade creates wealth. When that wealth is distributed downward, as in olden days, it's good for the middle class.

Conservatives ruined it. They ruined America.

Globalization will not drag us down. The US is not going to experience any sort of absolute decline; the only way an absolute decline is possible is if we raise trade barriers.
