I guest the Bush administration should have given tax breaks to businesses that kept jobs in this country, rather than outsourcing them?! Also, NAFTA did not create any jobs here either, but cost the lost of many US jobs! The standard of living, for most in this country has gone down over the past decade and more than likely will continue for the foreseeable future too! One thing to remember, tax cuts for the rich and large corporations, don't stickle down to you or create jobs for you either!

Who is us? Globalization will make some rich, but the majority of workers will see a downward spiral in standard of living. And most seem to think it's some kind of appropriate revenge for americas crimes. But the thing is, those responsible for americas crimes were not the middle class. *shrug*

Merely disallowing slave labor into the modern market would stop this race to the bottom. We used to use trade sanction to enforce human rights standards. We should go back to doing that.

The mindless neocon assertion that, "sanctions never work" has been disproven by history.

Correcting our trade imbalance would mean more jobs for more americans. Reversing globalization would work just fine.

Shipping shit all around is stupid logistically. Human slavery should not be a comparative advantage we allow to gain traction in the global marketplace.
