Did your taxes go up or down after the new tax law was passed?
As I've said the whole time, tax rates may have temporarily declined, but tax liability increased.
And it's not 1:1, either.
Did your taxes go up or down after the new tax law was passed?
Well, you are right. I misspoke. I should have qualified and said "everyone who makes any real money needs to file"
If you don't need to file, you are essentially admitting you are poor which I suspected all along
Tax rates may have declined temporarily (they expire in a couple years), but tax liability rose.
Give it up dude! You fail!
You know nothing about my financial status or well-being. You are just running your mouth and not impressing anyone with your lack of manners and unknowing experience.
I'm not here, nor is anyone else here, to discuss their own private financial disclosures!
But you ain't got it figured out so you just keep guessing OK? LOL!
Tax rates may have declined temporarily (they expire in a couple years), but tax liability rose.
Well if you aren't required to file a tax return then you obviously don't make more than $20,000 a year which would make you poor. Its OK if you are poor. Unlike leftists, I do not look down my nose at poor people. In fact, I applaud you for admitting it.
Most leftists who come here claim to be very well off
The standard deduction is less than what a family of four used to deduct/exempt and here's the math:
4 family members x $4,050 exemption = $16,200
Average mortgage interest deduction = $9,000
Total: $25,200.
That's before deducting things like medical expenses, student loan interest, charitable contributions; other commonly used deductions.
I am just happy to report that I am healthy, I live in a nice neighborhood, home is paid for, have no debt, and still have plenty of money to last a lifetime.
I don't need anything because I have everything I already want.
But, I may go back to work, because I do have too much time on my hands, and a little bored with it all, to be perfectly honest!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...blue-state denizens can't deduct all of their high state & local taxes from their federal taxes anymore...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
You can't itemize your deductions anymore.
What. The. Fuck. Dude?
Look, I took you clowns through the math of how your stupid Russia Tax Cut ended up increasing the average family of four's tax liability.
Before the Russia Tax Cut you support, a family of four could deduct/exempt:
$16,200 Personal Exemptions
$8,300 Mortgage Interest
$6,241 SALT
$7,998 Medical
$2,500 Student Loan Interest
$3,356 Charitable contribution
=$44,595
Yet, your standard deduction is just $24,000 (+$4K for Child credit for two kids).
So in what world is $28,000 > $44,595????
So you received a tax cut for 2018? Is that a yes?
No. Tax liability rose.
East Atlanta Village. That would be Decatur? We had dinner there a while back and that area is really growing. Lots of nice restaurants and condos.
when people can no longer subsidize their giant mcmansions by writing off interest on the loans, houses will start being purchased for what people can really afford and we may return to more efficient and affordable homes being built.
The family of 4 paying those kinds of interest payments is the target of your "pay your fair share" demographic. Just another example of how ignorant you are.
So you admit that your own selfish need to not be bored outweighs a younger person's opportunity and you would gladly take a job from them despite having no need to work.
You are a fucking asshole according to liberal thought. LOL
Yes it is, when it comes to paying MYtaxesIt's not just about you.

Those are numbers for someone obviously not in poverty. Who cares?
