Few have benefitted thru their career, due to AA, as much as Clarence Thomas has. And sadly he sees that as a stain and it has made him mentally ill.
A man who had the grades and qualifications but would not have been noticed for the jobs he has got, all the way up to the SC, had it not been for AA ensuring that the white people with the power to fill jobs, looked to fill spots with qualified blacks, when they otherwise did not have enough.
But at each stage, despite having the grades and qualifications Thomas was faced with the type of racist, that we have on this forum on the right, who would accuse him of being unqualified to be amongst them.
it is the same trope over and over that ignores qualifications and simply states as if fact, that if you are PoC and amongst them you do not have the qualifications.
Sadly that has lead Thomas to the mission to destroy AA, even as he continued to use it personally, while hating it. A do what i say, not what i do position.
