Mob Turns on Minneapolis Mayor Who Won't Defund Police

The left is getting crazier. Jacob Frey, the Democratic mayor of Minneapolis, was booed on Saturday by an angry mob upset at the mayor for not defunding and disbanding the Minneapolis Police Department. According to the mayor's office, protesters near Frey's home demanded the mayor come out of his home and address the mob.

"Yes or no? Will you commit to defunding the Minneapolis Police Department?" asked the speaker. "What did I say? We don't want no mo police! Is that clear?" The speaker then instructed the crowd to listen carefully to the mayor's answer since he's "up for reelection next year."

"And if he says 'no,' guess what the f*** we gonna do next year?" the speaker warned.

When the mayor answered "no," the speaker ripped the microphone from his hands and shouted, "Get the f*** out of here! No racists! No white supremacists!"

Go home Jacob. Go home," protesters angrily shouted.

"Shame! Shame! Shame!," the crowd spittled, flipping off the mayor as they ignored guidelines on social distancing and large gatherings.
 
On Thursday, Mayor Frey was seen crying harder than anyone else in attendance at George Floyd's memorial service in Minneapolis.

Just remember that it's only parts of the country. A lot of other people are just watching all this in shock.

The more the left attaches itself to this, the more moderates will vote against it.

It's ot that simple.. the media drives everything, and makes such riots appear as natural outgrowths of protest,and defund the police as a viable idea..
Gotta win the middle if you want to win an election -especially Republicans whom are out numbered by Dems

It is unfortunate that the media is so far left, but the Overton Window only moves so quickly. Plenty of people distrust the media, and this whole fiasco will likely make more people distrust them.

That being said, it is true that a lot of people are pawns of the media. It does pose several questions about the legitimacy of democracy.

Well, you also have to remember that a lot of people have sub-90 IQ. The lower someone's IQ is, the more likely they will be easy to manipulate emotionally. So, if you have a situation where a group already feels victimized for one reason or another, heightening their feelings of anguish will make the dumber ones easier to steer toward just about anything.

These are people who don't know the statistical realities of law enforcement. White people are killed more often by cops than black people, even though black people proportionally have almost as much contact with the police as white people (despite being only about 13% of the population).

100,000 illegal Somalis in one area. He picked an all white area to destroy. So what happened to Minneapolis ? It became an Islamic America hating shit hole. Elected the first Islamic Terrorist to congress: Illian Omar.

Yes, they are told they are victims by those who claim they will give them everything for free. If they are brought up that way, they expect it for life.

That can't be disputed. But law enforcement has changed over the years. If you want me to take the time to type why I believe this (my experience at our gun club), let me know. Otherwise, I won't.

The Million Dollar Question is how did we the masses ever get so stupid as to go along with this sort of abuse.
