Martha did a good job as moderator!

I think so to. She kept Ryan from filibustering and didn't let him off the hook the 4 or 5 times he failed to answer her questions. She also kept Joe from butting in. She was also tough and fair in her questioning. I think she did a very good job.

I thought she did an OK job. Her question on religion as it relates to abortion was over the top and had no place in the debate. I think she let Biden get away with too much, but all in all given the left winger that she is, I would give her a B-.

Had it not been for the religion question it would have been a B+

Personally I don't care for these kinds of religious questions either. They're to devisive but as I witnessed during the Bush years, they are very important to a lot of people. I know a lot of people who liked Bush purely on his religious views.

I guess the rest of America missed that debate where she

let Ryan from answer with cutting him off
kept Biden from butting in
and was 'fair' in her questioning by interrogating Ryan and letting Biden slide on a regular basis

must have been a different debate you saw

Yea well, that's just your tough luck that Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh wasn't the moderator and then you could of had it all your own way.

Be honest, you just didn't like it that when Ryan kept talking over his alloted time with out ever really saying anything she cut him off. Well guess what? THAT'S WHAT A MODERATOR IS SUPPOSED TO DO!

she would literally cut him off sometimes 4 seconds into an answer. at the end of the debate they had the same time.

apparently people are also saying biden interrupted ryan a total of 82 times and the moderator allowed it.

Then Ryan had enough time to make his case despite the interruptions if they ended up equal.

It's why they have to keep arguing about Biden's demeanor.

There's no way you can get through that debate without noticing Biden's demeanor. Now whether you liked it, it didn't bother you or it did bother you I find it difficult to believe someone wouldn't picked up on it. And as they said back in the Kennedy-Nixon debate when those who heard it on the radio thought Nixon won and those who watched it on TV thought Kennedy one it all plays a role in how debates are judged.

They counted time where nobody could hear anything but drunk uncle Joe angrily interrupting. Two people talking at the same time was counted as Ryan time...

Ryan and Romney still short on specifics.

Bawhahaha, you groan me, but you know it is true! They say things like the plans is too long or don't detail what write offs they will eliminate! So groan away, but what I stated is a fact.

Ahahaha, so now he was drunk. You must be hurting, isn't like you to make false statements like this that reek of desperation.

I already said last night that Biden overdid it with the laughing, the shrugs, the eye-rolling etc. He seemed to tone it down a bit toward the end. But it doesn't change the fact that Ryan was short on substance and that Raddatz had to press him to answer questions with specifics.

I'm talking about perception, he looked uncontrolled and uncontrollable, like a belligerent drunk Uncle at your family Christmas party. You have to invite him, but you have to make sure you get the kids in bed before he starts getting too rowdy.

IMO, he looked like they had him so full of stuff to regurgitate that he couldn't hold it in any longer, he tried to get it all out at once.
