More evidence of global warming??

I generally consider the denial of GCC to be less of a position than a means. Republicans have this list of contrived, ideological desiderata that constantly face pressure from the realities of natural science and economics. So they find it would be better if these realities didn't exist. Thus comes:

Global warming is a lie from East Anglia and the science community.
Homosexuality is a choice.
Communism poses a threat to America.
Marijuana is harmful.
In a market where there's competition for jobs, employers have to compete to fill positions.
Your body has ways of shutting pregnancies down.

Employers are always competing for employees if market forces prevail. However, due to supply and demand, there will be times that the employer or employee has more control. It just depends on the position, where it is located etc.

Once you get over this notion that any business owner exists to provide you a job and all of the means to live a comfortable life, you will learn to look out for yourself and you will be free. Want to know the secret to real economic freedom? Get out of debt. Live debt free. Next, don't own a home. Rent. When you rent, you can respond quickly to changing market forces in the labor force and move at a moments notice.

Most people are in the predicaments they are in because of the choices or lack of choices they have made. It is easy to blame your parents, your school, your neighborhood or whatever else is convenient at the time. But, the choice is always up to you.

Yurt had a choice to be miserable and chase Howey around the board always sniping at him. But, eventually he listened to me and finally put him on ignore. Now he claims to be much happier for it. Compeitition always works and provides more prosperity for more people than any of the left wing controlled economies ever could. When fairness and equality are you main goals, you are doomed to fail because you can't make something equal for one person without making it unfair for another.
