VA, attorney general wont defend his State's ban on same sex marriage, it violates the Constitution's equal protection and due process clauses.

We are a Democracy with limits on majority rule. The majority cannot enforce a law that is in violation of the Constitution. As I pointed out, the AG, said he will not defend the law, because it is in violation of the Constitution.
