More Floridians per capita move to California

on the other hand, you don't have to drown in human feces in Florida.....

Yeah, you probably do not want to bring up human feces in drinking water when talking about Florida. Florida has refused to expand its sewer systems, and instead is relying on septic tanks even in heavily populated areas.

You know those algae blooms that Florida is having a huge problem with, they are fed with human feces.

I will drink tap water almost everywhere else in America, but not in Florida. That place is disgusting.

Orlando is in Orange county

There are multiple Orange Counties. Disney animation department does not want to move from Orange County, California to Orange County, Florida.

By the way, 8 states have an Orange County.

Some Florida houses are being built to survive hurricanes

I have been there. I know for a fact that the majority of Florida housing is terribly constructed. It is an embarrassment.

And it is showing up in their insurance costs. They have saved money on construction, but it is costing them in insurance.

MAGA seems to be convinced that one's life should be guided by house price.

I don't want to be 85 looking back and thinking it was all worth it because I got a cheap house in Tallahassee and my state income tax was far below the national median.

To me, life has to be about more than that.

There are intangibles and aesthetics about where I live in California that I can't put a price tag on.

Housing prices in the most productive areas are going to be pushed up by high demand until the demand dissipates. That is just the rules of the market.

People are making life decisions based on horseshit they heard on FOX.

My wife has a MAGA friend who moved to North Carolina, at least in part, because they 'heard' California liberals are going to force them to convert their house to solar, raise their water and utilities by 500 percent, and have drag shows in school.

You would have to believe that Florida will suddenly have about 7 times the population growth it has had in the past. Where would they find the extra land? Florida is running out of land to develop.
Florida has plenty of usable land, Sock.
At least Texas and California still have land, but not the water to have people on that land.
California has plenty of land, but most of it is useless desert with little or no available water. Texas has plenty of land, a lot of it with available water.
Your prediction is silly.
Not his prediction.
Florida has gone from a low pay/low cost state to a low pay/high cost state. Homeowners insurance has risen by 300% in the last 5 years. This is going to slow growth. Also the lack of land fit for development will slow growth.
You are making shit up again, Sock.
Worse yet, insurance is not rising because of outlandish profits. The big interstate insurance companies are not willing to cover Florida houses, even for four times as much money. This has left small, almost unregulated Florida insurance companies insuring against the next big hurricane. These companies will mostly fail without the reinsurance that would be required of bigger companies. That means even a small hurricane will wreck Florida. That cannot help their population.
Hurricanes regularly strike Orlando, and it weathers them just fine. Oh...and DisneyWorld is still there, BTW, despite the losses they've sustained.
Even with all that, I am guessing Florida will pickup one House seat in 2030, but there is no way they are picking up FIVE TRILLION ZILLION HOUSE SEATS, or whatever silly number you are coming up with.
Making up numbers and using them as 'data' is a fallacy, Sock. Argument from randU fallacy. The House is not large enough to accommodate that many seats.
Getting butthurt because California is losing seats that will likely be picked up by Florida, Texas, Idaho, and other places, is YOUR problem.

Florida is known for its shoddy construction, so even if "hurricane proof homes" were a real thing, they would not be built in Florida.

As for demanding the people in Florida pay for living in Florida, my question is how many will remain in Florida after they pay that price?

You are describing California. Homes in Florida regularly sustain hurricanes and are still standing.

MAGA seems to be convinced that one's life should be guided by house price.
MAGA isn't a person. Your life is guided by the choices you make.

Regretting your choices, Sock?

You obviously have no idea how a septic system works, Sock, or where Floridians get their drinking water.

Stop making shit up. You know nothing about Florida.

FOX does play a lot of horseshit. It is owned and operated by Democrats.
My wife has a MAGA friend who moved to North Carolina, at least in part, because they 'heard' California liberals are going to force them to convert their house to solar, raise their water and utilities by 500 percent, and have drag shows in school.
MAGA isn't a person, Sock. California has already done this.
