Feeding Our Future bribery defendant sentenced to nearly 5 years in prison
Abdulkarim Farah was sentenced to nearly five years in federal prison this week for his role in a scheme to bribe a juror in the first Feeding Our Future trial.Two of Farah’s brothers were among the seven defendants in the April 2024 trial. Farah himself wasn’t a defendant in the Feeding Our Future case. However, he conspired with his brothers and two others to provide a cash bribe to one of the jurors in exchange for a not-guilty verdict. The juror did not accept the bribe and alerted authorities.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Farah admitted to conducting surveillance of the juror and her home, and “sent a map” of where the juror parked during the trial.
