more on the firearm front

You're right about the voting thing. Everything else though, non citizens can do.

thank you

are you sure about non-citizens buying forearms?

in any case, i am only talking about citizens and they only have such rights as granted them by the constitution and scotus

in any case, i would not want anyone not familiar with their firearm's proper operation or usage carrying one around in public

in fact, i would be wary of such a person unsupervised at a gun range

also, i would only want responsible adults to carry a firearm in public

as for resident and non-resident aliens, scotus has ruled that they have the same protections as citizens as embodied in the constitution, but i do not think that they have all the same rights as citizens - it would be nice to find out the answer to that, in fact i think that i will start a thread on that subject

the constitution does not grant rights, Neither is it in any manner dependent upon that instrument for its existence. The second amendment declares that it shall not be infringed; but this, as has been seen, means no more than that it shall not be infringed by Congress. This is one of the amendments that has no other effect than to restrict the powers of the national government, leaving the people to look for their protection against any violation by their fellow-citizens of the rights it recognizes, to what is called..."internal police."

There is already a system in place to buy a gun from a dealer at a gun show. It's called NICS.

i'd like to see this gun law awareness training be delivered to cops and city councils first.
STY: Because if cops carry guns, civilians should shoot eachother too.

It's amazing how much crap you excuse in people by waving the "I don't like cops" flag

I have firearms myself, but a lot of us don't have the common sense or the maturity to possess and know when to use them, case in point, florida 17 year old shot and killed by neighborhood watch, parents sue?!

Parents shouldn't have to sue, this is 2nd degree murder easy, and possibly 1st degree. They can wave "self defense" all they like, but the kid was unarmed, a 17 year old kid, and this prick was wandering around with a loaded firearm. A clear failure of the justice system to toss his ass behind bars and start charging the chair.

Brazen, open-carry of forearms is rampant. Most people have two. Should forearms be banned? :whoa:
