Oh, wow, you bit my hook. I wasn't serious about the secret code names, but damn if this ain't a perfect example of a slippery slope.

I'm afraid I'll need to see an official list of names that are not fit for use before I can comment further. Can you point me to a source?

I don't know about Venezuela but Portugal, Germany, Argentina, Denmark and Spain all have an officially sanctioned list of permitted names.

New Zealand have prevented parents naming their loin-fruit 'Adolf Hitler' and 'Satan' before and rejected an attempt at '4Real' (the child is now called 'Superman', which was acceptable to the authorities)

Its not for the names people its obviously for some other reason. The county all ready had the names on record.

Well one who is so stupid they need to feel power over others and needs to shock people for attention. This type is not likely to make a good parent.
 
Its takes some young people so long to learn that a need to shock is one of the most boring things there is.
 
In Switzerland, and other nations, childrens names must come from an approved list.

At least thats what the mother of Jurg told me.
 
I am not going to go so far as to say that the names themselves were abuse, but they are a good indicator of the kind of judgment that these people use in raising their children. Also, IMO, raising a child to be racist IS abusive, but not the kind that the state should interfere in. I have done respondent's work in CPS cases and have represented parents in abuse cases that have named their kids Genocide, Lucifer, Freedom etc. The CPS people call those kind of names Child Abuse names, because there is a anecdotal correlation to those kind of names and contact with the Abuse and Neglect system. Granted there are lots of Sallys and Bobs also being abused, but the fucked up satan and white supremacist names seem to be involved and a much higher percentage for their numbers than the Bobs and Sallys.
 
another name that shows up with some regularity in Child Abuse cases here in NM is Nevaeh which is Heaven backwards. Also there have been some names like Malakai, and one couple that, no shit, named their son Toosexy. Just like that.
