Virtually all politicians are liars, but Trump lies far more than any politician in recent history. The reason this matters is because he's teaching his cultists that truth doesn't matter. This is another part of totalitarianism. Truth is whatever the dictator says it is. If Communism is about everyone being equal, why did the Soviet Union have a dictator? It doesn't matter, because in the Soviet Union, truth was whatever the dictator said it was. Stalin could say we have true equality, and his cultists believed him.

You have a very Fox Newsy understanding of Fascism and totalitarianism in general. The Nazis deregulated. The Nazis didn't outlaw guns. The Nazis didn't take over corporations.
Trump says he supports free speech, but he also calls for violence against protesters and tried to ban a reporter he didn't like from his press conferences. Trump has to pretend to support free speech, but he's conditioning his supporters to be ok with taking away free speech.
Trump is hardly pro-life. He's murdered plenty of babies through drone strikes and the funding of Israel. No, Fascists don't have to be Anti-Israel, Anti-Christian, or Pro-Islamism. I have no idea where you got that from as many Fascists in Eastern Europe today are Christian and Anti-Islam.

I already listed all of the things he does that is typical of Fascism.
Calls for violence against his protesters. Praise for other dictators. Puts his family in important government positions. Demonizes any journalist that reports on him in a way he doesn't like. Surrounds himself with criminals. Brags about having the support of the military. Encourages foreign powers to help him win an election. Redefines truth to whatever he says it is.

The fact that you, in this thread, said that you don't care that Trump lies, is an example of Trump conditioning people to no longer value truth, which is a step towards dictatorship.
