Heck I was reading the CEOs of the oil industry say if he put a 30% tariff on oil the price of gas will jump a dollar a gallon by the end of FEB.
The CEO of Auto Zone has already said as soon as he is sure Trump is going to put his tariffs on he will increase everything in his stores the percent he thinks Trump's tariffs will be and told other CEOs of retail companies they should think about doing it too.
And if big corps .do what they did during the inflation period under Biden and raise their prices a little extra they will pad their profits and blame it on the tariffs.
Prices are going to go up and that is what the MAGA voted for and will cry and cry about it when they do.

Has anybody looked at the price of Clorox bleach lately? Covid caused the price to go up and 4 years in, Clorox is still high. Just an example of prices....nothing and I mean nothing will cause prices to go down, no matter how much we whine about it, cry about it or protest...and nobody but the CEO's of these companies can bring prices down.

We have capitalismish. If the prices of goods from China and other countries go up 30 percent, our manufacturers will meet that price. No way they will not . That makes them a lot richer for the same work.

So because I'm White what I have was given to me. Right? Let me list the jobs I worked to put myself through undergrad Graduate and Medical School.

Physical Therapy assistant, General labor for DuPont, Orderly, Roofer, Janitor, Painter, Resident Assistant, Life Guard, grounds keeper and muscle nursing assistant for a psych unit. I cleaned toilets wiped bottoms changed soiled beds cleaned and vomit fell off of a roof, and burned in the hot summer sun. Inhaled toxic chemical plant fumes. Wrestled crazy patients dug ditches cut weeds. I worked 40 hour work weeks and went to school at night. My dad worked for DuPont and trained a black helper that was promoted to boss for affirmative action. My brothers are an architect/home builder and a mechanical engineer. We all worked our way through college.

So STFU with the White Privilege thing. When I met my wife she was going to Court Reporting school . She worked two back to back doubles each week to pay her tuition and did not have enough money to eat 7 days a week so I caught her by feeding her. :laugh: She is one of only two Students in her class room to certify as a Court reporter.

Like I have said there were a lot of companies that raised their prices a lot more then the percent of inflation and padded their profits, and haven't lowered them . You talk about Clorox , look at Exxon,Record profits , and large increases in profits year over year and they blame it on inflation.
Some of these large corps. should be investigated for gouging the American people

I get so sick and tired of white ppl telling these hard luck, boot strap struggle stories and completely dismissing their white access card, as if it never mattered. All these job opportunities you list, would never bestowed upon a black man, cept the toilet jobs and you know it. My 3 black kids, all were Governor Scholars, all got a full ride to college, all got Master Degrees, all making less that a white motherfucker with a high school diploma!!
