Anytime anybody say, "Most Americans support..."
you can take it with the proverbial grain of salt.

America is a brutally polarized nation,
and both sides seem to think that they have some imaginary majority.

In reality, we have clear consensus on almost nothing.
Perhaps we all don't travel enough to see that.

The way our society functions politically can't be explained in any other way.
 
If you write something that's sufficiently obvious, people can't disagree with it.
Or equally possible, those who disagree with it have me on ignore.

That is due to the reality that nearly half the population are uneducated Socialist twits who voted for the most pathetic, divisive, dishonest, grifting moron to ever sit in the White House.

BiDumb voters owe the rest of us an apology for putting that destructive racist in the White House. Or at least admit he didn't actually win but was "selected" by the swamp.

Same goes for "the American people want..." when used by a politician.

The truth is, there is a Voting Majority, and they win most every presidential election.

The only reason why they do not win every election, is because of the cowardly chicken shit Anti-Democracy ELECTORAL COLLEGE- that should have been scrapped over a century ago now if CONGRESS had any balls!

Geek, the electoral college is part and parcel of America's constitution [lower case "c"] .

We're, even on a conceptual level, a completely different nation without it.

I'm one of the few that's perfectly fine with forming a completely different nation, preferably, at least two,

but the federal system, as much as I can't bring myself to respect it, is what this nation is.
