It has been inevitable for some time that James Murdoch would step down, I'm only surprised that it took this long. The phone hacking scandal done him in, every time he appeared before the Select Committee he just didn't seem to know what was going on.

I always knew that Tom was not your real name, Miss Doolittle.

Of course he knew what was going on both at the enquiry and in his office. He probably thought that by telling his people not to talk to him about it he could plead innocence and then realised the committee had him bang to rights!. But talk about the 'fox' and the grapes! He says he never liked newspapers anyway (particularly the red tops) so he can now make even more money with his various TV stations.

I can't see it affecting Fox at all. Fox is working perfectly as is, convincing the dumbest half of the population to vote against their own best interests, simply by lying about everything.
