Musk Is Trator Trash on H1B Issue

Dude, until you actually run a company, pay employees, insurance, a myriad of taxes etc, etc, just to give people a job? Pipe down. If people do not choose to work, find people that do. Been that way since man's very first business.
There is one thing I know about nazi bitch, he does not own a company. He does not know the first thing about running a company.

Nazi bitch is complaining that people want to get paid for their work. He wants them all to be his slaves.
Elon has his hand on the President-elect and has what Pedo Don loves most: money.

9ezmq5.jpg

Business types who can't code hate people who can code.

It is a difficult relationship, but often not hate. The issue is a good programmer makes more money than his manager, and is more sought after than his manager. This creates a friction where the manager is not really the superior.

If handled well by both parties it can be gotten around. Another good trick I have found is to just ignore the managers.
Does Elon Musk Know Coding?
As a child he wrote programs, learned some programming in college, and did some simple website programming at the beginning of his career. I do not know whether he continues to program for the fun of it, but it has been 25 years since he had to program.

So the answer is yes, Musk knows some coding, but probably not a huge amount, and maybe nearly none.

Corporations love h1b visas because they can use that status to threaten them.

they can't do that to citizens.
When Litmus is right, he is right. I have actually seen programmers getting paid so little, it made sense to quit their jobs in the USA, and move back to India. So the corporation told them that their asses were owned, and if they did not take their low pay, they would be deported to India. And their response was they can do better in India, goodbye.

What industrialists and high-tech leaders must do is involve themselves with educating our population. There can be all types of programs in the schools with these leaders involved, in order to cultivate more Americans with the skills needed.
They have. It failed. We moved on.

Seriously, industry only wants to train people for the immediate problems, which is not an education that can create future technologies. That is the reason that everyone still goes back to the normal schools for people with educations.

Most of the foreigners we are hiring either have American educations, or educations from other countries taught by people with American educations. The problem here is not in upper education in America, it is still the envy of the world.

Which begs the question: How long will the bromance last?
It has lasted longer than I thought it would.

Did you hear of Musk bursting in on a dinner between trump and Bezos? How many people can get into a meeting with trump, against trump's will? Even his wife cannot do that.

The one thing Musk does not have is support from people. For some reason, no one likes him. I never met him, so cannot tell you why. For reasons I cannot understand, some people like trump. he drills in on their hatred, and exploits it in a way Musk just cannot.

Elon Musk just makes the Party of Trump even weirder.

Look at how pleased he was with himself in the kitchen sink photo:

Billionaire Elon Musk is coming under fire from some right-wingers online over comments he made in support of H-1B visas, non-immigrant visas that allow employers to hire highly skilled foreign workers.

This visa program was established in 1991. Congress sets annual limits on the number of visas that will be issued. It’s currently set at 65,000.

Companies including Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and IBM are among those that employ thousands of foreign workers with H-1B visas.

Musk’s Tesla was one of the leading employers for foreign-born engineers and scientists in FY 2024, receiving 742 approved H-1B petitions—up from 328 in FY 2023 and 337 in FY 2022, according to Forbes.

Musk, who was born in South Africa, received an H-1B visa.

So while it might not be surprising that Musk is a fan of the visa program, his views diverge from many right-wingers, prompting online drama.

“The number of people who are super talented engineers AND super motivated in the USA is far too low,” Musk wrote on Wednesday. “Think of this like a pro sports team: if you want your TEAM to win the championship, you need to recruit top talent wherever they may be. That enables the whole TEAM to win.”

Pressed by one commenter about denying “real Americans that opportunity by bringing foreigners here,” Musk countered that the user’s “understanding of the situation is upside-down and backwards.”

“OF COURSE my companies and I would prefer to hire Americans and we DO, as that is MUCH easier than going through the incredibly painful and slow work visa process,” Musk said. “HOWEVER, there is a dire shortage of extremely talented and motivated engineers in America.”

“This is not about handing out opportunities from some magical hat. You don’t get it,” he continued. “This is blindingly obvious when looking at NBA teams, as the physical differences are so obvious to see. However, the MENTAL differences between humans are FAR bigger than the physical differences!!”

Musk’s comments in support of hiring foreign workers quickly sparked backlash from conservatives. Much of the commentary included presumptions about the race of the foreign workers to which Musk referred.

“We don’t want or need to turn this country into India,” reads one viral response to Musk’s post.

“America is not your sports team. It’s my home,” countered someone else.

“I used to have some faith in Elon, but after this post I’m done. The mask is off,” slammed one right-wing account. “Elon supports erasing the cultural and ethnic identity of America to help grow his bank account. He’s parasitic and destructive.”

“So why not try to get people from Europe?” replied another account. “Engineers here in northern Europe earn HALF of what US engineers do, yet you keep importing Indians instead.”

The discourse around H-1B visas had been brewing online since entrepreneur Sriram Krishnan was picked to serve as a senior policy adviser on artificial intelligence in the incoming Trump administration, prompting a wave of racist backlash.

“Did any of yall vote for this Indian to run America?” swiped one critic on Tuesday.

Far-right influencer Laura Loomer called the appointment “deeply disturbing,” pointing to a post from Krishnan calling for country-based immigration caps to be gone.

In another post responding to Musk agreeing with Krishnan, Loomer blasted, “How does it make sense to keep importing infinite foreign wage slaves who will further plummet the pay for STEM jobs in the US?”

Trump and Musk are simpatico.

Trump hates to be booed or appear unpopular while Musk doesn't mind a bit. They are the perfect couple. Yin-Yang. The fact Elon isn't a political representative plus being the richest man in the USA means he could get away with a lot of stuff that MAGAts in government cannot.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. THIS IS HILARIOUS!

The rich know that the REAL people who are stealing those cush American jobs you drool over so much are actually the H1B visa folks that are brought in because:

1. They will work for lower salaries than non-H1B Visa holders (but the company will have to front a couple thou' to get 'em in the country)
2. They tend to be TERRIFIED of losing their job since it means they have to find another employer willing to front the H1B visa cost
3. They may very well stay on. And if you hook 'em into the corporate culture early they won't complain too much when they don't get paid great.

While all you MAGAts in the trailer park were worried about brown people who can barely speak english coming up and doing jobs no American would ever want to do, your RICH OVERLORDS were loading up their corporations with H1B visa holders and demanding MORE each year!

LOLOLOLOL.

See? This is why you guys are going to get ROLLED by your choice of Trump and his Oligarch buddies. They are WAAAY ahead of you and know which strings to pull while you are focusing on the WRONG PROBLEM.

It's HILARIOUS!

trump uses those visa's for his Mar-a-Lago employees.

I would be surprised he would even need an H1B visa for the help there. I simply assumed he used illegals like normal American businesspeople and just paid 'em under the table.

I know Melania was a visa recipient. First Lady and Recipient of the first Einstein Visa for posing semi-nude in spank photos. Fap fap fap....make Donny Cum Again (MDCA).

Look at how pleased he was with himself in the kitchen sink photo:
Musk wants to expand Twitter into an everything app called X. Fair enough, so he will need a lot more programmers. What is his first move? Layoff as many programmers as he can, and then make the remaining programmers as miserable as possible. Turn Twitter from a company everyone wants to work for to a company no one wants to work for, and make it impossible to add more programmers.

And then he cries it is no fair no one wants to be his slave? Look at how pleased he is to pull off this idiotic plan.
