The best and the brightest are not supposed to be entry level workers. They are supposed to already be at a higher level. Bringing them to the USA is supposed to give more opportunities for entry level workers to support them.

I am not saying this is how H1-B works, but it certainly is how it is supposed to work.

And I question whether these really are entry level opportunities. I have never heard any boss say, "you cleaned that toilet so well, we are going to make you the VP of engineering."
