Don't understand firearms? Don't be stupid, many liberals hunt, and own guns. My neighbors hunt often, including every Thanksgiving, and I can tell you they aren't conservatives. As for me I've watched Mythbusters, and tons of other stuff with guns, and have nothing against guns, within reason. Your BS is why you gun advocates on the right rarely add a damn thing to discussions about guns.

Except it’s the .223, you fucking moron, that is used to shoot people. Not the large animal calibers. Plenty of small caliber weapons out there for varmints. And they don’t have to include massive magazines. For your ignorant article, people aren’t shooting entire herds of feral hogs or coyotes.

The 2nd Amendment is not about hunting. I do not hunt, but you damned well better believe that I will keep my weapons of war because they most certainly ARE NEEDED if you are going to preserve the security of a free state. THAT is YOUR responsibility as an American.

But that is not going to happen. How many times has the government attacked the American people. You paranoid fuckers are part of the problem. I don't think bump stocks, large cartridge magazines and anti personal weapons existed then. I suspect the founders were silent on them. most recently we've had the bundy ranch, the wildlife station, waco, ruby ridge, and even more local actions against the people. If the government has weapons that could wipe us out in seconds, then we the people have the right to them as well.

the founders were all about maintaining the peoples superiority over the government. historical documentation on the constitution and bill of rights makes this plainly clear. disagreeing with the founders and the constitution makes you a domestic enemy to it.

So you do not know how those happened. Waco was a setup. Koresh was doing some bad shit. The government set him up with illegal weapons charges and he did a real stupid thing. Did you get shot at Waco?

Ruby Ridge was about militia crazies defying the government. That does not work out so well. How long did it take before you recovered from that shooting. The militia response was the OKlahoma bombing. That actually killed innocent American citizens. That was worse.

The question is not if we should implement strict gun law policies in the US it is when the line is drawn. The line that so many gun enthusiasts, politicians, celebrities and average citizens fail to see. From a very mature perspective it seems absurd to not value safety and precaution, over rights and privilege. Yes a large number of people in the US value their 2nd Amendment and the ability to use and protect themselves through guns but what they fail to foresee is the value of example. The example that various countries throughout the world have demonstrated successfully, like Australia. You remove the risk, and in most cases the right, you increase the reward. The reward is quite simply the reduction of gun related violence, incidents and accidents. Australia has seen, since the removal of over 1 million guns, a reduction in homicides relating to guns and led to no mass shootings. Statistics don’t lie, unlike many Americans who continue to display arrogance and privilege. The right and privilege to do something is earned, exactly like respect, this works the same for guns. It has been proven that the guns laws, the right, the privilege, has not been earned but rather overrun. Yes, the argument is you remove guns then people will still try to access them. However the access will be significantly diminished, which in turn diminishes the reward.
