"it's just a phase he/she is going through" and "he/she will grow out of it".

I am reminded of a recent claim that a school felt the need to have a serious meeting on whether there was a requirement to set up a litter box because a kid identifies as a cat.

I don't know anything about any of that, but I know a lot of the crazy shit you hear nowadays is made up.
