My apology to Donald Trump and his supporters.

Got this from Quora a while back, but never posted it. Cannot find a link to it, but it is worth posting, because I want to agree with the person who posted it. I feel the same obligation to apologize.

I owe my Trump-supporting family and friends an apology. I’ve been critical of the Trump presidency and am still exhausted from the experience. But to be fair, President Trump wasn’t that bad, other than when:

what's the very worst one do you suppose?

or are these all made up?

if you can't name the worst one, they're all made up.

No, I made an accurate observation. Have you perused that list? There are so many blatant, outright lies, misquotes, complete fictions, non sequiturs, and other bullshit in that list it hurts. Sure, Trump has some serious foibles and says and does some stupid things, but all Presidents do. He's not particularly notable--other than by the Left who hates him with a passion--in any of those respects.

But the list has enough bullshit in it to supply methane to the world for decades.

",,,so many blatant, outright lies, misquotes, complete fictions, non sequiturs, and other bullshit in that list it hurts" is exactly what ultra Alt Right Maga does. Justify your statement above, T. A., with solid sourcing.
Someone has to help T. A. Gardner with understanding humor.

(Amazing, isn't it, that a Trump supporter would use "lying" in any form as a defense for Trump. FOR TRUMP OF ALL PEOPLE. Truly amazing.)

No, this particular statement about Trump hiring Guiliani is an irrelevance. Why is it on a list of "bad" things Trump has done?

You clearly don't know the difference between a legal immigrant, and a valid refugee. That's the problem here. Why should, for example as you bring up, the US take refugees from a war zone on that basis alone? We have no reason to whatsoever. Let them deal with their political issues in their country not evade them by coming here.

I have a problem with the greentard agenda. It has proven itself wrong nearly 100% of the time, and has been an economic disaster as well. Why should I see Trump hiring people that are opposed to that agenda as a negative?

So, as usual, YOU are the one full of shit.

No, it doesn't. It also means that the things listed are not necessarily "bad" on Trump's part. You want it one way, your way. I have room for differing opinions.

The lifetime prevalence of suicidal ideation among transgender and nonbinary people was 50%, the lifetime prevalence of suicide attempt was 29%, and the lifetime prevalence of non-suicidal self-injury was 47%.

Data shows that a high percentage of those who consider suicide proceed to an attempt. The same Williams Institute study found that 42% of transgender adults have attempted suicide at some point. Other meta-analyses have found suicide attempt rates among transgender people to range from 32% to 50% across various countries. These figures underscore the severity of the issue.

The increased medical requirements for things like hormone replacement, etc., are self evident.

Have you been to Haiti? I have! It's a shithole. If the world needed an enema, that's where you'd stick the hose in. Been to African countries too. They're pretty big shitholes too. Not on the scale of Haiti, but still up there.

Doesn't change my argument. You are just making trivial objections here.

Right back at ya, only with actual facts, so in your face, asshole!
Thank you for the sources.
