We have to know what Abuse of office means. No one accused Obama of Abuse of office when he executed an American citizen without a fair trial. That violates the 6th amendment. So if that isn't Abuse of Office how can what Trump did be Abuse of Office?

Only YOU can make the decision to remove the President. WE, THE PEOPLE, all of us, not just Republicans, but ALL OF US, are counting on you to do your duty. We are NOT asking you to serve your party or look out for your own political future. We are especially counting on you to do your duty OVER any personal or party considerations. We are counting on your solemn word to bear true faith in YOUR OBLIGATION without 'purpose of evasion,' (ie partisanship) to show your allegiance to the Constitution.

That is what you swore to do.

If this President is allowed to get away with stonewalling Congress then that means any President is unimpeachable for as long as he can drag out subpoena battles in courts. That is unacceptable. That increases the power of the Presidency and weakens the power of the US House of Representatives. That upsets the balance of powers and it weakens the Constitution you swore to support, defend and bear allegiance to, with no partisan consideration. The USA is 'your party' now.

I hope you consider very well how history will look back on the decision you will soon have to make. I want you to do the right thing. And I have no doubt that if you do, you will NEVER regret it. There may be costs, but they are worth it for the peace of mind of knowing you did the right thing. Now is the time to do the right thing for your country, the country you serve.

I've said it before and I'll keep saying it, since it doesn't seem to register unless it is repeated a few thousand times. It is not logical to wait until a term of office is nearing end to try to undo an election.

Obviously, that is not what's going on here.

Truth and justice end where Trump begins. He has no respect for the law and norms. The long term effects of Trump's accidental presidency will linger and poison the executive branch forever. What if we get a president who thinks like Trump, that the president is above the law, and is intelligent? Then the American experiment is in real danger. In truth, Trump has done real damage.
