Fonda wasn't trying to overthrow the US, she was criticizing it. And she was just a celebrity, like Rodman.
When Joe Kennedy made nice with Chavez because of his help for the poor, people called Joe a traitor. There's a double standard in here somewhere.

If I say I hate Rodman now would that be better? It's not like Rodman's some Republican who I'm (or others are) giving a pass to for partisans reasons. And hell he's black and we know most Republicans hate blacks so you'd think he would get more heat just for that.
When you listen to Dennis say "he's my friend" it's hard knock to shake your head and feel sorry for Rodman being used like his is as a propoganda tool.

So Dennis is too stupid to bear responsibility but Jane was not? Why assume that? Dennis actually seemed to be arguing that, [yeah, they have some faults but, we are in a glass house.] Meanwhile, dumbass Jane, seemed to buy into some fantasy that all POWs were treated humanely and made some really stupid comments.
But, I would like to get at this stuff that she is responsible for someone's death because I think somebody needs a better spam/bs filter.

I was trying to take it to a personal level. I'd argue its a moral shortcoming and even more specifically it is often rationalized selfishly. Also, I never called those who abuse the copyright laws socialists. I'd ask you to stop assuming I'm calling everyone a socialist please.

Right, and this does not imply that the "left-biased" are okay with theft or that anyone that supports the right of innovations in file sharing/distribution as free expression are left biased?
I don't use the torrent sites as I find them too costly. But the inordinate burden of protecting this "property" should not fall on others.

My grandma was a lifelong Democrat. She had a son die in Vietnam and she hated Fonda. My Uncle died before I was born so I never met him but I remember my grandma showing me pictures of him 35 years after his death and it still made her cry. So for me personally after seeing my Grandma's reaction my hate for Fonda went off the charts. And Grandma was no right-wing fool.

Fonda was a fool and still is.
But far right wing morons have been trying for a loooong time now to rewrite the history on Vietnam to make it appear just and as if the only reason it failed was due to lefties. They overplay this whole spitting on soldiers, as if everyone who opposed the war acted in such a way. They try to create guilt by association and when Fonda's stupidity was not enough to make people agree with their bullshit narrative on Vietnam they embelish it with outright lies.
