N. Korea Vows to Declare War... and Hearts Dennis Rodman... and 'Freedom of Speech"

Now you're switching from private citizens to politicians. That's two very different things imo.

Guess I just don't see how Fonda's actions, as dumb as they were and as much as I disapprove of them, make her more hate-worthy than all those presidents who were responsible for sending 58K young Americans to their deaths.

My grandma told me she voted for LBJ but didn't say anything else about him. I don't know if she hated him or not. I do know what she told me about Fonda. To me, judging a politician and a private citizen are different. A private citizen, to my knowledge, doesn't have the ability to declare war or send our troops into war. Thus a private citizens actions will be judged differently.

Howey and singlemankenneth, as Viet Nam vets have your forgiven Fonda?

My husband has.

Maybe, it is time for the rest of you to follow his example, or maybe, my husband is just a better person for having done so.

Congrats to your husband. He's a better man than my grandma or the others who haven't forgiven her.

Sir Digby Chicken Caesar:

If you will not respond with a position of your own than we have nothing to debate. I will not guess as to where exactly you stand nor will I put forth my opinion like its piss in the wind. You have clearly seen the previous post I made in this thread and you are clearly not interested in a debate, only strawmanning or otherwise marginalizing my points. You don't seem stupid so I am only left to assume you have no valid points in mind.
