Pelosi clearly looked and nudged. I doubt she did it because of the kid's ethnic or political background. Agreed it was more likely a reflex to push kids away. We saw the true face of Pelosi in that moment, not her political mask.

You've been here long enough to see the elementary school mentality of political fanatics on JPP. Just because it's the norm doesn't make it honest.

As a few have pointed out already, had it been Trump nudging the kid, all of the elementary school kids would have switched sides of the room.

Too harsh. IMO, he's an immature but active young adult, little or no college, blue collar and his best shot at success is floor manager.

:rolleyes: Oh the hyperbole. I don't see Mayra Flores giving Nancy a knuckle sandwich for beating up her kid. Maybe you should report Flores to CPS for this egregious neglect.

I watched the video from the beginning. An aide was arranging all the people for pictures and she put the girl a foot away from Nancy. Then as the pictures went on the girl kept inching closer until she was almost behind Nancy. Even after Nancy tapped her the girl continued to inch closer. Obviously she wasn't afraid.

Flores is a pro-trump extremist who believe in the Big Steal and other conspiracy theories. Texas can do better than her... a lot better.

Flores is a very conservative RWNJ and a trumper. She an her husband both hate Pelosi. The little girl didn't even realize anything happened until her mother filled her head with this idiocy. Flores has seven months to prove herself, she better can the conspiracy theories and get cracking on more serious business. Don't forget these are the same people who claim Biden molested young girls at these swearing-in photo ops. Now they found a new target.

Regardless of all the adults acting like children the fact remains Pelosi clearly nudged the child away from her. The reasons don't matter except to make her actions even more petty and unjustified. It's not the kid's fault.
