No, if the pics come out it will not be over. Not even close. Fear mongering and knee jerk reactions will be common place from the left wing nuts, but that is about it. Anyone who looks at it logically knows that the fear mongers are arbitrarily pulling numbers out of their asses with regards to mag max holdings and that most don't understand what an 'assault rifle' is.
Darla why do you think that Bush "imbedded" "journalists" ?
Darned liberal media.
I wish we had it back.
And as per usual the right wingers have done their best ot derail the intent of this thread to gun control and magazine sizes....
sheesh.
they are either being decietful or did not understand the OP at all.
Decietful or stupid....

I hope they show the photos from this too... that way we can ban SUV's and swimming at the same time.
The only problem with your lame argument is that hammers, swimming pools, cars were not made or he express purpose of killing.
Just curious, but what exactly do you think the thread OP was about?
And yet they do a much better job of it anyways. Dynamite was made to be a war weapon but damned if it didn't beat shovels and picks for mining.
The horrors of violence upon other humans for war, racism, simple murder or massacres.
And by inflection how our society is becoming deadened to the effects of violence.
Our media promotes violence against humans instead of discouraging it.
Our media is not publicizing it like they used to.
The only problem with your lame argument is that hammers, swimming pools, cars were not made or he express purpose of killing.
Well, see opposite effect, something made to kill is being used in a constructive way.
So, it is your contention then that we were more 'sensetive' to violence at some point in our history? If so when would that have been?
Guns can be used for many things, killing is one. Cars may not be made for killing, but they kill more each year due to misuse that guns do.
Guns are not meant for people to go around shooting innocent people. People choose to misuse them for that purpose. The point I am making is that you are not going to stop such events by going on a banning spree. You will go for clips that hold more than ten rounds now, then come back for those that have 8/6/4/2/1 until you realize that has nothing to do with stopping such tragedies. You and many others continually ignore that it takes less than a couple seconds to change clips.
You then want to chant 'ban assault rifles', yet you don't know what they are and really are just saying it because you hope the fear mongering against 'assault rifles' has made them into a boogey man of weapons in the minds of those that don't know about guns.
During the vietnam action for one.
Teh media was liberal back then and brought graphic stories and photos to the American people about the horrors of the war.
IN Iraq and such not even coffins of dead soldiers could be shown.
guns were designed to kill. PERIOD.
They were improved to kill more efficiently. PERIOD.
Anything can be misused to kill but guns were explicitly designed to kill.
That would appear to me to say that we are more sensetive about it now than prior if we can't see dead soldiers today (except on the internet of course).
Oh, I see, you are set on throwing a tantrum. Ok... go ahead... stomp those feet.
Guns were not meant to be used to run around killing innocent people. That is not their design any more than it is the design of a car.
defense, hunting, target practice... three uses of guns that are not about killing people.
Again... the proposals from the fear mongers will not stop these types of incidents.
Tantrum?
Naah that you your gig not mine.
I am not a drama queen like you are.
Yes nothing would stop ALL useless deaths from guns, however it could and has reduced them.
But keep on with your all or nothing mentality.
