Yup, that is their strength, it is numbers. However, equipment is also necessary. They need to get that many people here before they could use them to take the place over. By the time they started they'd already be one huge radioactive glass parking lot. They don't have a single nuke on a sub... sad really.

From former greatness they copy the US economic success in order to attempt to gain some of it back all while thinking they'll be able to keep the populace bottled up in totalitarianism... Success and freedom are contagious, they'll not be able to hold back that tide.
 
We are not so foolish as to allow the facts of our weapons to be known. We are content that our capabilities are progressing.

How have your military victories happened lately? Have the brigands in Iraq and Afghanistan been cowed by your well-publicized armed might? Has Bin Laden given himself up to your mercy?

The Chinese fighters have been a force to be reckoned with for thousands of years.

They have fought many would-be invaders (the Mongols, Japanese) and survived. They have won major victories against nations that were supposedly more sophisticated, better armed and at times more numerous.

Yet we perservere. Your nation has a short history and already you decline. You have not triumphed since 1945 and that victory was gained on the backs of others.

The Tangut Chinese people did not survive. The Mongols actually committed total genocide against them, so there goes that assertion out the door. And how exactly is it glorious for the rest of China to have merely survived, rather than defeated, the Mongols? Furthermore, who got the Japanese off your backs in WWII. Another stunning survival there.

Also, we have triumphed twice since 1945, in 1989 (over the USSR) and in 1991 (over Iraq). And, we triumphed again in 1999 over Serbia.
