And that IS ALMOST 1/3 rd of the total National debt.
We have been running a debt for years and if you look back at what Presidents ran it up the most.
Reagan almost tripled it , GW over doubled it , Obama added something like 8 Trillion to it in 8 years and Trump added almost that much to it in his first four years in office, and now another 2.25 T since he retook office ,
By the time he gets out of office Trump if he keeps going he will be able to take credit for running it up over 50%.

Trump started his career by finding credit on his daddy's books. Trump went bankrupt so daddy had to bail him out. The problem for Trump is the world no longer buys our debt.
