How about nobody knows so one opinion is no better than another lol?

Fauci flopped on herd immunity just like he did masks. Post infection natural immunity should be the default position *because that’s the way it almost always works*. Until there’s solid [not anecdotal] scientific evidence to the contrary, people should be able to act as though they are immune and consider themselves immune to Covid if they’ve already had it.

“nobody knows,” so common sense dictates you go with the consensus view, the estimates of just waiting for “post infection natural immunity” predicted close to a million deaths before such a reality may have occurred


And the Fauci flip flop exaggeration has been so overplayed on the right and is a mischaracterization of what Fauci did say and why regarding wearing masks ( https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-factcheck-fauci-outdated-video-masks-idUSKBN26T2TR)

The OP is spot on: I’ve never heard of not being immune to virus, post-infection. They hide behind the ‘well, it’s a novel virus’ schtick instead of citing evidence for that claim.

I have not had the Flu since I was 15.
