A justified shooting. The guy did not obey the officer. And when you reach for your pants, or whatever, there is a chance you may be going for a weapon. If I was that officer, I would have shot him too. There's a lesson here. Do what you are told, and you won't get shot. It's that simple.

Even my Podunkville little city has seen this same sort of dynamic. Has one of the highest murder rate in my state, but unless you are a gang member, a drug dealer, or a baby-something to someone who is, and aren't the sole clerk at an oddball hour in a convenience store, you really don't need to worry for your safety that much.
