Negligence Suits Likely Over VA Procedures

Yes I agree. How can we get private hospitals to send out mass emails informing patients of a misdiagnosis of a serious disease?

Do private hospitals have an incentive to cut costs? The government has a pretty massive incentive to cut costs. That's one reason healthcare in the UK can get so shoddy. Doctors are paid very little and they only increase funding when an outcry emerges. But it's very cheap. The UK's system is one of the cheapest there is.

If anything, private doctors have a pretty big incentive to charge for as many tests and services as possible. They get paid for each service, regardless of how much it benefited the patient.

^lol^

thats rich...yeah, the government has no incentive to create bigger government programs to get more money....say like a trillion dollars for more healthcare....

yeah, the government has no incentive to create bigger government programs to get more money....

Not really.

All I can say about most government programs are that they are shoddy. Not nearly enough money is spent on them to run them efficiently because the politicians are racing each other to the next tax break. They don't do a cost-benefit analysis, they do a cost analysis.
