I'm lookin to get a 'new' car. I currently have a 98 Crown Victoria LX, and want something similar. I've narrowed it down to two choices.

The Mercury Marauder with a P71 transmission (2004)
The Chevy Impala SS with GM police transmission (1995[column shifter!])

Plus, I owned a '94 Lincoln Continental. Cool, classy car, but at that age (owned from May '05 to June '10), its a real pain in the ass. An '04 is much closer to acting like a "new" car, depending on the mileage and car history.

Sedan that seats at least 5 comfortably
Trunk that holds at least three 58in rifle cases
Police transmission
Super charger
Classy

If an Acura can do all that, let me know.

Actually my cases usually hold at least 2, sometimes 3, guns. So I'm riding around with between 6 and 9. Not including my pistol cases or my open carry piece either.

Because the Marauder is the ultimate of the panther platforms.

Stick with the Crown Vic. I hear people are less likely to hijack them because they look like cop cars, and any edge you can get in detroit is worth it.
