This has nothing to do with helping kids learn. Every time there is a school shooting, the internet is flooded with people asking where are the phone-cam-videos of the shooting. The press never has an answer except the alex jones answer and this will stop the issue even being raised.


jan 9 2025 Republican New Hampshire Gov. Kelly Ayotte announced Thursday that she plans to ban cell phones from schools.

She stated her intention in her inaugural address alongside a number of other issues, according to a transcript.

“Screens are negatively impacting our learning environments, drawing students’ attention away from their classes, and becoming a barrier for teachers to do their jobs. No more,” Ayotte said. She posted her statement on X.

Cellphones are a distraction. School districts all over the country are doing the same thing because teachers are forced to spend too much instructional time telling kids to put their phones away.

Kids don't need cellphones in school.

Education has not been the purpose of the schools for a long time...to the extent that the students and their parents still think that it is shows the extent that folks are not paying attention, that they slurp up the lies from the people who run them.

I admit it's a good idea. I hate cell phones and would like to ban them everywhere, esp in cars where they cause car crashes. My point is the gov is lying about why she supports the ban.

Public schools are a waste of time and money, IMO. Nothing but daycare for irresponsible parents who don't care if their spawn are molested or turned into drones dependent on authority figures for everything.
