My dear, read closely- this is a conservative candidate in a conservative part of the country. Think of him as a populist. Obviously you are running scared and already conceding defeat.

But the Dems have a long history of putting up candidates that appeal to conservatives in leaning red and purple districts (pro-gun/pro-life especially) and then being successful in quashing their positions and opinions when they get to DC. It is a time-worn head-fake to gain seats when the loopy-leftie agenda is rejected by real America.

Along those lines is the number of Dem candidates who have been hand-picked to run because they have some military service in their career. That in itself isn't worrisome; what's "interesting" is just how many are actually CIA/NSA/DoD spooks . . .

25% of Congressional candidates are coming straight from various and assorted intelligence services.

If you're concerned about "spies," you might want to drop the support for the Russian admirer, Putin's Puppy, in the WH.

BTW, (R)s do the same thing when campaigning. "I want to bring people together," they say. "I will work for *all* the people in my district," they say. "I want to root out corruption and bring integrity back to Washington," they say. Then they get there and settle in and start accepting largesse from the lobbyists, ignoring the (D) constituents who call or write about issues, and marching lockstep with the rest of the conjobs in DC.
