I think it is inevitable unless you only want one term Democratic presidents. You have only to look to Truman and see what he did just months after taking over on Roosevelt's death.

However, do we not exist in a different era? Neither Truman nor Roosevelt were as beholden to the corporate interests as what passes as leadership today. But here's the punch line .. it was Bill Clinton who lead the coup that handed the reins of power to the corporate interests ..

.. and today Clinton has more money than God. :0) A very long ass way from his humble beginnings.

Obama wants to be Clinton. He will continue to do what is in the corporate interests .. and democrats will continue to ignore it.

????....you realize of course that the Electoral College is why Obama isn't going to win, right?.....he has to win the same states he won in 08 to win again, and there are plenty of states he didn't win by 9% of the vote in 08......if you subtract those states from his electoral vote tally, he falls short.....
