He also contributed to Democrats. And LOTS of Democrats registered as Republicans so they could vote against Trump in the primary. So how about Hinkley?

Russell argued that Trump’s high marks reflect a “honeymoon” period, which she predicted will fade once he takes office: “Once things start happening, it’s going to take a turn, and so it’s going to rely really heavily on the actions in the first 100 days to see how we go from here.”

She also noted that the polling suggests openings for Democrats on issues like abortion, health care and taxing the rich, as well as a fear that Trump may go too far on tariffs. Their survey also showed that two-thirds of voters said inflation should be the incoming president’s top issue, but only a third of voters believed it was Trump’s or Republicans’ top issue.

When the focus group participants were asked about inflation and tariffs, many of them said they didn’t fully understand the policy, while others acknowledged they expected prices to go up.

“Obviously I wouldn’t want stuff to go up, but at the same time, in the long run, would it be better off for America and maybe having more stuff made here?” said one man from Wisconsin.

If Dems had any brains, they'd put Fetterman in charge of their platform and have him screen candidates. He's probably too chill for the presidency, but someone that talks like him with good looks and a great smile could be a real threat.

A President is not a person, any more than the Vampire Lastat or Brittany Spears.

A President is a Government Institution.

A person fills the role, but the Role makes them far more important to the nation, than a normal citizen.

While President, there are many extra laws, limitations, exceptions, and special protections.

There are many places in the nation, banks, military bases, special research hospitals, nuclear power plants, courts, prisons ... that are not normal public locations.

And the people who work there, while on duty are not normal people, they are like the President, you cannot do or say things to them, or about them, that you could say about them off-duty, or outside those special locations.

You cannot say some things to a Judge in his/her courtroom.

“To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize.”

You cannot threaten the life of any President.
