New signs of dementia...

And people travel from all over the world to be treated in our health care system because it is one of the best if you can afford it. Approximately 35 % of ER visits go unpaid for that cost has to go to other people. For example. I took care of a illegal immigrant with new onset seizures . I had to treat a stop his seizures and investigate the cause . That require extensive lab work and then a MRI of his head. It turned out he had CYSTICERCOSIS also known as pork tapeworm. The Pork tapeworm enters through under cooked pigs raised in filthy conditions then travels to the brain and lays eggs which hatch then calcify. His care required nurses lab technicians respiratory therapists Radiologists ER doctors interests and neurologist helicopter pilots paramedics and lots of expensive supplies and equipment. I have treated TWO of these patients and both were from Mexico and both paid ZERO for there care. Should he get care ABSOLUTELY 100% but he should get it in Mexico we have enough poor Americans that deserve care also. There are tens of thousands of stories like his. The US can't be all things to all people. We don't need to import millions of more poor people. We have enough as it is. BTW I didn't get paid to take care of either of those two patients and I would take care of them gladly again if I had to. I have never been highly motivated by money I worked hard and live within my means. But hospitals have to pay nurses techs etc and those expenses have to be paid by some one.

If the rest of the world can give good care to their people at less than half the cost of ours, we can too. We're 47th down on the list of countries with highest life expectancies, and 50th on the list of infant mortality by country. Since we're forced to pay the most money because of corporate greed, we should be getting a better bang for the buck than this.

We are blessed to have the absolute best Healthcare available anywhere... a lot of people wouldn't be posting here today if we didn't...

Healthcare is much like the justice system. It’s how much one can afford to get the best.

Back to the haves vs the have nots.

Doesn't Idaho have great Healthcare? I'm sorry if that's the case... who are these Have Nots you mentioned?

For one the rest of the world does not have the same as we do now name one that has better health care than we do based on what is available. Did you know a lot of infant mortality happens on the border where women with ZERO prenatal care drop into hospitals to have babies.

I had a 16 Hispanic girl that showed in the ER to have a baby she had ZERO prenatal care and spoke ZERO English and it was her first child and she was crowning. THANK god the OBGYN showed up just in the nick of time. (I hated delivering babies) Earl will like this . No one in the small hospital at that hour could speak Spanish. He kept screaming at her puta puta and she kept crying no puta no puta
.
Anyway the cleaning staff got there later that morning and they could speak Spanish the outraged family spoke with the cleaning staff. The cleaning staff explained to the OBGYN that empujón means push not punta. (whore) :rofl2: He had to apologize to the family. :dunno: He did the best he could and the baby was OK. I suspect the greedy bastard didn't get paid for that delivery either

If the US didn't have great health care a huge majority of people posting here would no longer be with us... there's a lot of people here who are always ill... someone must be doing something pretty well...they keep coming back...;)

I'm just going to guess- The price was higher than most people wanted to pay!

And according to NASA, graphite was a poor lubricant in space!
It was shit oil.
The graphite clogged catalytic converters.
They couldn't keep the graphite chips in suspension.
The oil was pitch black, which some drivers associated with dirty oil.
There were lawsuits over the oil.
The oil exceeded all car makers' warranty requirements at the time.
People couldn't get used to putting black oil into their engines.

It hasn't helped the left's mental illness though :dunno:

Are you really as stupid as you portray yourself or do you just exhibit your ignorance for the purposes of this forum?

Goddam, the literacy skills of some of you idiots is mind boggling.

IMO, it's more dementia than illiteracy. Maybe just old-fashioned paranoia and stupidity. Notice most JPP Trumpers are over 60 and want to burn the country down. There must be a reason behind their desire to do so and it's probably their life's failures.

I think they merely read what they want to read rather than the actual words themselves.

One of their favorites is “In other words…”

No, stupid fucks, NOT “in other words”. In the words I post.

I worked for several Oil companies, so I pretty much know the business perspectives of a few .
I worked for Mobile Oil and served as a Voice/Data Network Engineer back in the late 80's, and I helped develop and maintain their World Wide Network within the IT Department at their Headquarters here on Diamond Parkway here in Dallas. I knew a lot about their company structure and business decisions of that era.

I also worked under contract to move the Occidental Petroleum IT Network to CitGo after Armand Hammer sold his company to Citgo just before his death in 1990. I knew Armand on a personal level, as I had to have a telephone conference with Armond every day to keep him posted on how the project was going daily, as he was on his exploration ship somewhere out in the Russian Arctic Sea. Sadly he died, just after our successful cut-over from Occsi to CitGo. Armand was a slave-driver, worked me hard under a lot of pressure, but I was happy to do a great job for him to complete the task. One of the greatest and proudest achievements of my career!

I was also a personal friend of H.L. Hunt, as I met him at the famous Sol's Turf Bar downtown Dallas- having lunch- best pizza and Corned Beef sandwiches on Earth! His office was above the old Colony Club on Commerce Street and I just worked 3 blocks over from Wood and Bower Street, while working at the Federal Reserve Bank 1970 - 1980. We became somewhat lunch mates, as I would go over to his office and walk him across the street to our favorite Lunch Spot- Sol's several days every week for years. I did this as a favor to Sol, as H.L was old and feeble, and we were both just trying to watch out for him as he got older. NO I DIDN'T learn anything about his Oil Businesses personally, but he did teach me One Big Thing- he taught me that Texas Wildcatters will not drill when they can't get more than $100 bucks a barrel from their OIL LEASES! This is still the model and standard even today!

And way back in the 80's while working for ARCO Oil headquartered in Plano Texas, I served as a Network engineer at their Prudhoe Bay Computer Center in the Arctic for a 6 month stint. Froze my skinny ass off up there! So I am very familiar with the operations there and worldwide.

And I watched the Dallas TV series and learned a bunch from JR- does that count?
I went toMedical School with a guy that was a petroleum geologist who put together small wild cat projects to put himself through medical school and we became medical partners after medical school. He sold most of his projects to a wildcatter in Houston and I don't remember him ever getting a $100 a barrel so I'm going to have to call BS on that one. In fact there would be zero wildcatter drilling for many years if they didn't drill unless they got $100 a barrel. In fact I have several shares of different wells that my partner put me into and not a single one of them was drilled when oil was over $60 bucks a barrel. Not a single one. My partner would look at the geology of the areas around producing leases and buy leases on land that looked promising near them and work it up and sell the lease to wildcatters then if he kept a piece of the lease for himself I would buy a share or two. It proved an effective strategy. I hit more than I missed. I invested in some land near Midlothian because he felt strongly there was gas on it. It hit big and we both did well. It allowed us to both retire early.

Our HC system can't keep more infants alive than Singapore's. And while I understand there's more to life expectancy than just HC, HC doesn't seem to keep our sick and older people alive longer than Singapore's does.

BTW EW, the Spanish word for whore is "puta" not "punta." And your SFEO are still ignoring the greed in our HC system, it's all about deflection.
