So how come Australia is still a free country?
American Conservatives will screech about how these new gun laws will turn New Zealand into a Fascist dictatorship. When it never happens, Americans will just start talking about something else.

I've said it before, very few of my guns are registered. How will they register what they don't know I have? Do you seriously think I'll volunteer to have them registered?

Nobody gives a shit if you do. If the law were to require it you would not be purchasing any more without registration.
