WB: "Maybe he will beat his wife? Or rape a woman? Or get in a fight and put someone in the hospital?" Post #6.

Let me see if I can find my violin.

:viol:

If you do not find domestic violence or rape more offensive than kneeling on the sidelines before the game starts, I don't know what to tell you. I think that is pathetic.

If you came in this thread just to harass one person, and are still pissed because others replied to you, I think you miss the entire point of these forums.

And if both of the above fit, I doubt you have the intellect and/or heart to play a violin.

WB: "Funny how you and your ilk are so much more angry about kneeling than the actual crimes committed by pro football players. But then, domestic violence or rape doesn't satisfy your righteous indignation like exercising a constitutional right, does it?"

LMAO!! I reply to your post and you spend post after post after post whining about it. And you are talking about playing the violin for ME?

lol Here, let me offer you the entire string section of the London Philharmonic.

I watched some of the 2nd half. Both teams looked pretty good. Dak looked better than I expected. In fact, he out performed Brady.

he hasn't taken a snap in a real game in almost a year....and he played that well. that is pretty amazing against that first class defense.

I saw the last 3 minutes and as much as I dislike the Cowboys, they got screwed. That last reception was clearly a push off and should have been called offensive pass interference. I guess the NFL wants their golden boy to win another SB. Anyone taking bets???
The bolded are words that everyone who watches the WWENFL should be very familiar with and make a regular part of their lexicon whenever discussing the WWENFL.

The WWENFL is not a sport; it is entertainment. It is rigged in order to provide for the most entertainment and to create the most chatter, so that people consume their product.

Many important games are super close (always seemingly coming down to the final minutes/seconds). Many games have very questionable play calls/penalties during pivotal moments of the game. On and on and on......

Personally, I completely stopped "fan boy-ing" the moment that I watched the Vikings/Saints playoff game where the Saints were late hitting Favre throughout the whole game and never getting penalized for it, since they were "destined to win" due to "Katrina" and that was the huge storyline.

As of lately, Tom Brady being "GOAT" has been the main storyline being pushed, and that storyline might just continue onward into this season as well... We'll see.

--- In short, there is absolutely ZERO reason to take the WWENFL seriously. It is purely entertainment that has storylines that play out a certain way to get the most people possible to consume their product... Yet, they're simultaneously doing everything possible from a political perspective to push as many people away from their product as possible... it's all quite interesting...

Other than me? I just asked because I missed the beginning of the game...I'm going to guess no one did (or not many)...or it would be front page news...
You don't even like or watch football, do you?
I only tuned in to the very beginning of the game... I saw a bunch of black people starting to sing the "black anthem" and instantly turned it off, then I tuned back in when another black person started to squall the national anthem. I didn't see anybody kneeling. I then watched a bunch of black people (with a handful of people of other races sprinkled on top) provide entertainment in the form of a football game for a few series and then I went to bed.

Maybe you should watch hockey or swimming. Those two sports don't have many black people in them. It'll make it easier on your delicate sensibilities.

I do watch hockey, it's actually my favorite TV "sport." I will also say the few blacks who play are rather good players.

Very true...And I'll say the same for swimming...;)
I think people would be surprised about how popular competitive swimming is...for everyone....;)

Well, the GF likes synchronized swimming...

Back to the NFL and glorious wins from the Browns and Bengals....what a weekend...
Didn't see the anthem...are they really playing two? We played both once before a track meet...but it was a one time thing...It's a hymn and much better suited for a different type of event...It's a very pretty hymn, btw...
But...There's only one national anthem...There's only one United States of America...

Football sucked this weekend, and they gave that pathetic asshole Rodgers another win by extending the game (after time expired) for a field goal kick.

I didn't watch football, the drag races were on and I had to work Sun. and Mon. nights.

The Cowboys continued to look OK but Dak turned it over with a fumble and a intercept IIRC. But the had an impressive win. The Cowboys will have to play better than they did if they play a better team than the Giants.
