NFL 2025 season

@FastLane I'm interested in the Packers/Lions game tomorrow though... I figured they'd both be fighting for the top spot (and they still are) but I didn't expect the Bears to be up there too.

The Packers now have a rather tough schedule ahead of them, but that's probably a good thing because this year they've seemed to play better against better teams. These next four games will really shape up that division because they play the Lions, then the Bears, then the Broncos, then the Bears again. Then the Ravens and the Vikings to close out the season.

Are the Packers playing the Broncos in Denver or at home. IMHO the Broncos have an advantage when they are playing at altitude.

They play the Broncos at Denver, so yes, the Broncos do have an advantage beyond just "home field". At least the Ravens game is at Lambeau, but the Ravens are a run-heavy team, so snowy conditions wouldn't advantage the Packers like it would for most other games.
 
@FastLane That's 3 wins in a row now... The Boys are now the "hottest team in the NFC East" (although two of them are abysmal) ... Now to see what happens between the Packers and the Bears.

Packers just beat 'em there. :)

If the Boys can pull that game off, then they have a pretty easy schedule from then on out. The Chargers would be the only real competition, but that one is at Dallas. The Vikings suck this year, as do the Redskins Commies and the Giants.

So far he's been doing quite well. Had 2.5 sacks in the Lions game. He's right up there towards the top in sack leaders. --- I still don't like giving up the draft picks for him, but his presence on the DL has been nice.

On the other hand, I'm not a Jordan Love fan at all. I'd like to see Love traded away for a similar aged or younger (& eventually better) QB (and a draft pick or two depending on who he'd be traded for), but I know that won't happen. GB likes to keep their QBs until they get "too old" and Jordan Love is supposedly "the future" even though I've never seen good enough play from him to warrant building a franchise around him.

Since I'm not "super into the NFL" (and still believe it to be rigged at least to some extent), it doesn't depress me at all. I just watch the games every now and then for entertainment purposes (and because there's usually nothing better on TV on cold Winter Sundays other than the football games).

But yeah, for fans who really get into it, it's a huge bummer. It was a non-contact injury and it looked like his knee just buckled on him. The talk is a torn ACL (which means done for the year). Jordan Love played a really good first half and a really poor second half.

It looks like the Cowboys couldn't quite beat the Vikings, so they are basically eliminated from the playoffs (unless they win out and the Eagles lose out).

If I a bit bummed about anything, its that Philip Rivers couldn't quite get the win in his Colts game.
