The NFL is a business and it is in the business of football. The NBA is a business and its in the business of basketball. MLB is a business and its in the business of baseball. etc.

You tell me what powers those leagues have to force what you want done. Do you think the NFL, NBA and MLB will shut down all sports in America until it is deemed there is no more oppression? In theory it could happen but highly unlikely those who spent a billion dollars or more to purchase a team are going to let their investments go to zero.

The league in theory can do whatever it would like.

If they can do what they want then they can support the reason for the kneel in the first place.

Had the U.S. Military (Government) not started paying the league as a marketing ploy to gen up recruiting for war purposes, this would of never happened.

What that same government needs to start doing is revoking the NFL tax breaks.

They need to start paying taxes if they want to stifle players 1st Amendment rights.

Yes. Like any employer they can do what they please. Don't like it find work elsewhere. I am sure that these NFL afletes with their college edumacations could all go on to be rocket scientists or nuclear physicists. They don't need NFL money. If they were truly standing up for their principles, they would quit.
