I wonder why he was sitting? Don't you? Fascinating, his comments when questioned about his "sitting" in the past.So what?
Does he not have the freedom to do whatever he wants, stand and sit for whomever of whatever he wants?
Many in the same stadium that he was in were eating hot dogs, talking to other fans, and scratching their asses during the anthem.
Hit me with how 'bad' NFL ratings are while sports that 'support the flag' are doing so wonderfully with attendance.
"Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch sat during the majority of the U.S. national anthem, but stood for the Mexican anthem before his team's game Sunday against the New England Patriots at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City."
Thoughts?

As for the crowd? I imagine the large majority in the stands found it in their hearts to to be respectful for the Anthem and the raising of the flag. Most Americans don't have a problem doing that.

Don't post when you're stoned,you ramble.
He has no beef with the United States. Why would he disrespect Mexico? Unlike the US, he has no beef with them.
I think he does it out of disrespect for the Just-Us system.
The majority in the crowd may indeed stand in respect for the flag, but there are a lot who talk and scratch their ass.
In college, the anthem is played while the teams are still in the locker rooms. The NFL should follow that lead.
Kiss my ass. Do it while you're stoned if you choose.
Then why doesn't he take his "disrespect for the Just-Us system," as you call it, to them? Neither our country nor our flag has anything to do with his "complaint" then, does it?
