And these "protests" got negative attention and so haven't made a bit of difference when it comes to "social injustice" or "inequities"
I've not seen any positive results at all...nothing but confusion, especially for our young athletes. Just what our young people don't need....more "role models" like the sitters and the kneelers.
Change will come, but not soon, and never because of demonstrations that don't make any sense.
And people who think that Colin Kaepernick is some kind of hero. But don't know who JJ Watt or Glen Coffee are. Real NFL heroes.

You mention mentoring at an at-risk middle school, and community activity. That may be great, if you aren't telling the kids what you're posting here....
Let's see if you can take a guess at what "my side" is. And what my involvement in society an the community is. I'm curious, because you condemn without knowing....shit:)

People like evince and blackascrap (whata duo huh) think that the world owes them something because their own self respect couldn't possibly be so low because of their own doings.

They see someone protesting our brave young men and woman in the military, and the flag they serve under, and immediately they join the cause. It's like misery loves misery, they are drawn to the black hole that is their life.

They are the same type that if the switch was flipped, and white people were protesting something they didn't think should be protested they would feel as we feel about the flag.
